Here it is: a snapshot of my new video piece for the upcoming In Conversation show at Artworks Loveland. The opening night is this Friday, April 10 from 6-9 pm. The show involves quite a long list of visual artists and poets, resulting in a delightful and varied exhibition of literary and visual imagery.
The piece that I made is a 6 minute video created from footage filmed in one of our local parks. I use my figure, the river, trees, grasses, sky and wood to layer together this beautiful new media piece.

This is the hole I made to run the cords that supply the video signal and the power to the screen. I thought it was a delight to be able to see the silk scarves through the hole in the wall!
