Pvc pipe scarf frame = a delightful morning project

After thoroughly exploring all manner of technique in my pursuit of the perfect jellyfish scarf, it became clear to me that I needed a proper frame for scarf painting! So, I pulled out my tape measure and sketch pad to find the best lengths of pipe to accommodate all of the sizes of scarves I make.
This frame is made of 1/2 inch pvc pipe with corner joints, t-joints and sleeve connections. It even has feet to raise it up off the table (or floor). It will hold an 8×54 inch scarf, a 35 inch square scarf, and all the way up to a 22×90 inch scarf! The scarf is suspended in place by clips that are fastened to the frame with rubber bands.
